Technical Brief
Multifunctional electrochemical ceramic membrane filtration system (REM filtration system) provides a new direction for the disinfection and purification of water. It combines the anodic electrochemical oxidation of the water treatment with the ceramic membrane filtration, so it has good applicability and compatibility. You can omit the traditional process of physical filtration and chemical disinfection process, such as coagulation, flocculation, precipitation, ultraviolet disinfection, etc.
Technical advantages
Compared with other membrane filtration process, REM filter system advantages:
Improve the efficiency of pollutant removal and degradation
The REM filtration system combines electrode oxidation and filtration to effectively remove inorganic contaminants such as ammonia, sulfide, and organic contaminants (such as trace sterile residues, natural organic matter, microorganisms, pathogens, etc.)
Reduce membrane contamination hazards
REM filtration system is different from the polymer membrane because it does not require frequent backwash and maintenance. This feature can reduce system downtime and reduce the amount of anti-wash drugs.
Since REM made of ceramic material has excellent stability and can last at least 10-20 years with no aging or corrosion, the membrane replacement frequency will be very low.
Increase the effluent flux
The use of REM for microfiltration or ultrafiltration can be a higher water flux
Keep trace elements such as calcium and magnesium ions in water
The traditional RO reverse osmosis membrane removes all suspended or dissolved particles and salt ions in the water. Although the water quality is guaranteed, but caused by the operation of energy, effluent acidic water and beneficial calcium and magnesium for the human body and other trace elements are removed. REM filtering does not cause these problems.
Reduce energy consumption
The use of REM for microfiltration or ultrafiltration of the pump pressure requirements and power consumption are not large
